Well, I’m baaaccckkk!

The September Meeting will be, as usual, at the Westmount Library, 7pm, Wed. Sept. 8/2010, in the BIG room.

Most of the meeting will be chaired by Adam and the Show Committee as we ramp-up for the October Show.

Exciting stuff!!!!!

Hi, all;

The August Meeting will be held, as usual, at the Westmount Library on Wednesday, August 11 at 7PM.

I am still eating my way through Atlantic Canada, so Harald and Steve will be taking care of things.

After the normal business is done, Adam will be starting to get us ready for the October Show!

Have fun and I’ll see you in September.

Harald ably filled in for me at the Meeting.

There were several nicely turned out kits and after-market goodies on the display table.

Lee told us that the Show was proceeding nicely with sponsorships still coming in.

Discussions were held over the offer from the Library of display cases and interest was shown in a Saturday Build-session there – possible as an adjunct before or after the October Show.

Dave gave a lengthy and interesting talk on scratch-building, a subject I have always likened to voodoo. I am very sad to have missed it, as I feel it is a talent too few of us have taken a crack at.

     I will be on vacation and Harald will be Chairing the Meeting. Of note will be a presentation on Scratch-Building by Dave G.
