Torcan 19 was held by IPMS Toronto and Peel Scale Modelers on May 26, 2002 at  the Etobicoke Olympium.  The organizers obviously put a great deal of effort into the production, and are to be commended for putting on a good show.  As usual, IPMS London had a strong presence at the show, and several of our members brought home prizes.  This page features those winning models; the Advanced categories were for modelers who have won a prize at the IPMS Regional or National level within the last five years, while the Intermediate categories were for all other modelers.  Enjoy the models, and congratulations to all of the winners!

Category 11.  Biplanes and Rigged Types - Advanced

Doug Booth got 2nd in this category with his 1/72 scale CCF G-32 Goblin.

Category 14.  Aircraft - 1/100 and Smaller - Advanced

Doug Booth also brought home a 2nd in this category, with his 1/144 scale Airfix Handley-Page HP.42 Heracles.  Strangely, 1st in this category was also won by an example of this venerable kit.

Category 16.  Single & Twin Engine Non-Jet, 1/72 Scale - Advanced
