Hi, folks;
Tom has held a meeting of the new Show executive. The tentative date will be the last part of September, 2012. The themes will be “Think Small” in all categories for the special awards. Not as in small scale, but light tanks as opposed to heavy tanks, ships such as destroyers as opposed to battleships, etc. More details to come.
Lots of neat stuff on the show-and-tell table and Tom made an interesting talk on water effects.
Shaughn and Steve will be working on moving content from this site to the new one.

The next meeting will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 10 at the Westmount Library, Wonderland Road South.
Tom will update us on the 2012 Show Committee and will also give a presentation on “Water Effects”.

Hi, folks;
Well – it looks like the 2012 Show is a “Go”. Tom volunteered to be Show Chair, and was followed by Dave, Doug, Ben, Kerri and Dennis who offered to help. We are looking at September 2012 for the Show. Tom will get all of Adam’s info and will report at the August Meeting. It will be a good, early start for us. A BIG thank you to all the volunteers.
We also had a reporter/photographer team from the Londoner Magazine as guests and they seemed to be very pleased with what they saw. Possibly an article in the future for us????? We’ll see.
The slide show on the Beaches and Museums of Normandy was well recieved.
A possible new member, Ron brought some great models to show – hope to see you again, Ron.
