JANUARY MEETING MINUTES
Hello, all
We started the Meeting with a motion (accepted) to merge the positions of Vice President and Treasurer. Shaughan volunteered and was elected to the post for two years.
It was also decided to sign over the Show account to the new Executive, retaining a separate account. This will all be done by February.
Steve and John L. will be doing a round-table discussion at the February Meeting about the web-site in general and where we should go with it.
Doug advised that the Victory Branch Legion offered the use of their upstairs room to us for meetings, or our show, and Doug can arrange a tour for the Executive. I will try to take a look before February.
Everyone brought out their choices for the 2011 Club Build and it was a very eclectic mix – lot’s of different challenges for the members. Dave G. brought out the trophy he moulded for the winner of the 2011 Build and said he could do one for each coming year as well. Thank you, Dave , for the very generous offer!!!
JANUARY MEETING NOTICE
BRING OUT YOUR KIT!!!!!!
The January Meeting will be held at the Westmount Library on Wed. Jan. 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Big Room as usual.
We all need to bring out the kit we will be building as our 2011 Year Build to show the folks and register for the contest. This is a fun contest and the winner will be chosen in November 2011 by lot. The only qualifier is you must actually finish the kit.
Club Elections for VP and Sec. will also be held.
All those who have not paid their dues, please bring your $35.00 – you cannot vote unless you pay!
Show and Tell should be held to a minimum as we will be showing our 2011 kits to all.
So, Happy New Year to all and I’ll see you there!

Steve S. has volunteered to take over the website task and is getting all of the transfers done with Stuart. Thank you to all who sent comments on the issue and we will discuss this further at the January Meeting.
